About COVID-19 studies

What are the COVID-19 studies?

The COVID-19 studies are clinical research studies that have been designed to help us learn more about potential new vaccines for the prevention of COVID-19.

Although COVID-19 vaccines are now available in many countries, it is not known how well these vaccines will work against new strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The purpose of these studies is to research investigational vaccines for the prevention of COVID-19, including COVID-19 caused by newer strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Researchers are evaluating the ability of each of these investigational vaccines to trigger an immune response. They also want to see how safe and well tolerated they are.
